Two weeks ago I went to #ClozetteKPartyPH , an event for Clozette‘s Ambassadors and Star Clozetters here in Manila. Just to be clear, I was not one of their ambassadors (although I wish I was) but I was in fact, one of the organizers because… I work for Clozette. Surprise! Yeap. I work for Clozette as their Community Executive & Writer and recently, as one of the organizers of this event alongside my collegues Jara and Lystra. (hey y’all!)
Before the event I went to my bff Jyl’s house to have my makeup done. I certainly didn’t want to look like trash beside our ambassadors and star clozetters so I hauled in some help. Jyl was the perfect one since she’s a certified MUA (hire her guys!) and her house was near my place.
Her makeup studio was inside her dad’s library so Imagine my glee when I walked in–books and makeup in one place? All it needs is a coffee maker and a sushi vending machine and I can officially call it heaven! And oh, we also share the same love for Pink so I immediately took a photo of the chair and makeup kit. Aren’t they cute?
And their pom Chikie is the cutest pom ever! She was with us at the beginning of the session but left us when she felt hungry. haha
I really didn’t ask for anything extravagant. I just wanted a simple makeup look that would last the whole day. And it did! Jyl’s makeup skills gave me 5 hours worth of makeup coverage. I did minor retouches for my lips and cheeks but aside from that, my foundation stayed put until the end of the event.
Our event was at Kuppa Roastery & Cafe in BGC but I arrived an hour after our call time because of the heavy traffic. Thankfully, I arrived before our guests did and helped with the set-up of the booths and the goodies bags.
Thank you so much to our sponsors Thrift Market, Revlon, Belle De Jour, Celebrity Nails, Olay, L’Oreal, and Missha for fattening up our swag bag with lots of goodies! They also prepared booths for the girls to try. Revlon had a makeup booth and they taught us how to put on K-style makeup. Celebrity Nails glammed-up our nails with pretty colours and nail stickers. Thrift Market set up a display of Summer collection (not in photo) and we, Clozette, had a glitter tattoo booth for everyone to try.
The booths were a hit! And I must say the girls were very…chatty. We had a short program afterwards, ate good food from Kuppa, and gave away prizes. I was totally envious of the Revlon and Instax cam winners but you know…that is one of the realities of working behind-the-scenes. Maybe in another event I get to win freebies too? HAHA!
So that sums up the #ClozetteKPartyPH. I definitely had a blast and am really excited for the upcoming events we’ll organize for our ambassadors. Hopefully y’all be a part of it! If you’re a fashion or beauty girl, sign-up at clozette.co today!
