When you’re a freelancer/work-at-home/part-time worker, the space you work in affects your productivity.
A cafe doesn’t really provide the fastest internet connection, especially when more customers arrive, and the comfort of your office at home (sometimes) becomes too comfortable. With my past job, it even came to a point wherein I had troubles blurring the line between my work and personal life because I bring my work (aka my laptop) with me wherever I go. That all changed when I discovered Acceler8 through flyspaces.com.
Acceler8 is just one of the many coworking spaces you’ll see at flyspaces.com. Think of flyspaces.com as your go-to portal for searching the workspace that suits you, your coworkers (if any), your work, and your budget perfectly. Most spaces offer more than coworking and hot desks as they have rooms, shared office spaces for short term rental, galleries, event spaces, and even retail pop-up spaces.
Just sign up and search according to the place (Cebu, Manila, and Singapore) and kind of space you’re looking for.
Once the search loads, you can filter it out even more based on the date/dates you need the space, number of guests, and budget. You’ll also see the location on the right side of the page so you’ll know one which one is more ideal in terms of location.
For me specifically, I searched for a workspace near Makati because my boyfriend and I had to go to an event near that area after our “work hours”. Ambience was a big part of our ideal space since he is a designer and I am a writer. We were on the hunt for a fun yet professional and inspiring space that fit our 700 Php-budget. After a few adjustments with our search, flyspaces.com then brought us to Acceler8’s page. It was perfect for us and I booked it immediately for the two us next day’s work!
Flyspaces.com gives you the basics of the amenities and perks but I suggest you call the workspace of your choice directly so you have first-hand information. Acceler8 had great interiors, unlimited coffee, printing services, and blazing fast wifi so that sold it for us.
We actually finished our work in advance (productivity hit us hard!) so we had a lot of time to go around for a mini shoot. Here’s a few shots of our experience at Acceler8.
During our stay we met the accelr8 team: Mikko Barranda Co-Founder), Bianca Cruz (Community Relations Officer), and Francesca Padilla (Community Manager). They told us more about their space– that it offers a lot such as coworking desks, dedicated desks, private office spaces, and conference rooms. They even hold workshops and you can rent out their space for your corporate events. The best thing for me though is their location, smack right in the heart of Ayala, so it would be super convenient for those people I’ll be meeting near that area.
I heard they have an ongoing promo, so best to contact them now while they’re still fresh in the coworking space market!
